CORRECT INFLATION – This basketball will require inflating. All balls have the correct pressure printed around the valve. Your basketball will arrive deflated (a pump is not supplied). Over-inflation will damage your ball. Correct ball inflation is important to maintain a technically superior basketball. It is recommended to use Glycerine/Glycerin to moisten the valve. Apply a few drops to the mouth of the valve before carefully inserting the pump needle to inflate, avoiding damage to valve or bladder. It is normal to feel a little resistance.
